Whenever i played gold and silver (my favorites), there were 2 pokemon i always had no matter how many times i played it. First was cyndaquil. Second was Mareep. I trained the shit out of those 2 to make the 2 most badass pokemon in the game. To this day, Cyndaquil and Ampheros remain my favorite pokemon
